Holidays and Schedule Changes:
Truth and Reconciliation Day: There will be no classes on Thursday, September 30th. Thanksgiving weekend: There will be regularly scheduled classes on Saturday, October 9th. There will be no classes scheduled for Monday, October 11th. Remembrance Day: Classes will be in session Thursday, November 11th with a possible schedule change. Students will be notified of any changes prior to this date. Winter Vacation: The first day of the Winter holidays will be Monday, December 20th, 2021. Students will return to classes Tuesday January 4th, 2022.

Year-end Performance 2022:
Our year-end Recital is booked for Sunday, June 19th, 2022, at Dave Dunnet Theatre (Oak Bay High School). We are hopeful that we can have a performance, as in the past, but will make other plans if needed.
Studio Health Protocols:
We would like to thank everyone for continuing to follow the Covid-19 protocols that have been put in place by Arabesque Dance Studio, based upon the guidelines given by the BC Ministry of Health, the BC Centre for Decease Control and Work Safe BC. If you would like to review any of our protocols, details can be found on the Registration page of our website, or a printed version can be provided to you at the studio. All our teachers are fully vaccinated, as are our students ages 12 years and older. We are very happy to see everyone enjoying dance classes together again this year!
New Toddler Dance Classes:
This season we are offering two new classes on Friday mornings taught by teacher and mom, Ms. Ivana.
The Parent and Tot–18 months to 2 years and Pre-School – 3/4 years classes will run in 10-week sessions.
Toddlers do not require masks, but we ask that parents taking part in the program follow the Covid-19 protocols.

Adult Beginner Ballet Classes:
A new 8-week session of Adult Beginner Ballet classes will start Friday, October 1st, to Friday, November 19th, 6:25 -7:40 pm. There are a couple of spaces still available if you have always wanted to try ballet classes!
Attendance:
Please contact the studio if your child will be missing classes. Some classes can be “made-up” in another class within a month of the missed class. Check with Valerie regarding possible “make-up “classes.
