Here is some information about our upcoming Rehearsals and Performances.

Studio Dress Rehearsal: 

Our first dress rehearsal will take place in the St. Matthias Church Hall, 600 Richmond Ave., (corner of Richmond & Richardson) Monday, June 9^th, 4:30-6:00 pm. This will give our students a chance to perform for one another, rehearse in costume for upcoming performances and see all of the other dances. Costumes must be in good garment bags and students must come prepared to dance, with tights & nude suit on, hair in proper ballet bun (this year, a flat braided bun). It would be easiest if students arrived in their first costume under a robe. Please remember to put names in shoes, tights, and costumes and remember to have a container for all accessories and hair pieces.

Senior Residence Performance– More information coming!!

Dress Rehearsal and Recital – Tuesday, June 17th will be held at Glenlyon Norfolk School Theatre 781 Richmond Street. We would like to begin our Dress rehearsal at 3:45 on Tuesday, June 17th, trying our best to finish by 5:15 pm. Please drop students off in the “green room” behind the theatre for both the Dress Rehearsal and Recital. There is a side door by the soccer field and in the hallway, it is the first door on the right past the stairway. Tickets can be purchased, and parents can enter at the front entrance of the building.

Students can then go home, rest and have supper, returning to the “green room” backstage by 6:30 pm for the Recital at 7:00pm. During the dress rehearsal, we will send the youngest children out a little earlier, if possible. Please do not enter the theatre. The students will gather in the green room and then enter the theatre. I’d like to remind everyone that no one other than dancers and helpers are permitted in the dress rehearsal and there is no food or drink permitted in the theatre. Also, no photographs or videos may be taken during the Recital.

Tickets: are now available for the Recital and can be ordered and purchased with an e-transfer at info@dancearabesque.ca , or from Valerie at the studio by cheque or cash, or at the door, paid in cash in the theatre lobby at Glenlyon Norfolk School Theatre during the Dress Rehearsal, at 3:45 pm or Tuesday, June 17th. Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for children 12 years and under. (Arrangements to pay by cheque must be made with Valerie, picked up in classes only, until Monday, June 16th).

The last day of classes is Monday, June 16th.
