Welcome to the 2023/2024 dance season at Arabesque Dance Studio!

Holidays, Schedule Changes, Performances and Parent viewing days:

Classes cancelled in the schedule have already been taken into consideration with fees and are sometimes made-up on school holidays. October Schedule change: There are no scheduled classes on Thursday, October 26th, for a Knox Church event. I have attached the information if anyone would like to attend the event. Remembrance Day: There are no scheduled classes on Saturday, November 11th. Classes will be in session Monday, November 13th. December Schedule Change: Students have been invited to perform Saturday, December 9th, 2:00 pm at Parkwood Seniors Residence, 3051 Shelbourne St. (at Hillside). Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will be able to take part! There will be no classes Dec. 9th. We are hoping to add another Seniors’ residence performance in December and will notify everyone in advance to be sure students can take part. Parent Viewing Days: Parents are welcome to come and view their children’s classes from Monday, December 11th to Thursday, December 19th. Winter Vacation: The first day of the winter holidays will be Friday, December 20th. Students will return to classes Saturday, January 6th, 2024.

All notices, current updates, schedule changes and upcoming everts are posted on our website. Important events and holidays taking place throughout the year may be found on the Calendar Page of our website. There is also a link to our Arabesque Facebook Page and there are new postings and events on it throughout the year.

Attendance:

Please contact the studio if your child will be missing classes. Some classes can be “made-up” in another class within a month of the missed class. Check with Valerie regarding possible “make-up “classes.

Studio Health Protocols: We are continuing to be careful throughout the fall and winter cold and flu season and while Covid remains a risk to many vulnerable people. Please feel welcome to wear a mask in classes, and if you are not well, please do not come to the studio. 

Performances 2023/2024:

We are planning a few performances at Senior homes this year and are hoping to have two arranged to take place before Christmas. Our year-end Recital will be Thursday, June 20th, 2023 and has been added to our calendar.

Student Fees:

Please check to see if all fees have been paid and submit any missing post-dated cheques or arrange scheduled e-transfers or arrange with Valerie to complete payments.
